Jessica & Blake’s Italian Bridals

Bridals Couples Wedding

Jessica and Blake were engaged in Rome, so these Italian themed bridals were a perfect fit. I have been dyinggg to post this session and now that their wedding day has past, I’m throwing them out for the world to see. We were having so much fun we basically shot until there was no more light to shoot in.

This shoot was featured over on Utah Valley Bride and you can see it HERE

I shot these on a Canon 5D Mark IV. Canon 35mm 1.4 + Canon 50mm 1.4 & Kelvin white balance. Edited in Lightroom + Photoshop. Leave any questions in the comments!

So beautiful! How do you decide which/ how many black and whites vs. color? Do you promise a certain amount of bw or do you just go with your gut?

Thank you! I do not promise a certain amount, but in the end I usually end up doing about half, maybe a little less. To me I love the candid and close up shots in B&W.

Kelsie & Austin, Old Train Station Bridals
This old train station in downtown Salt Lake City, UT was the perfect place for some moody bridals. After we hit the city, we made our way to the Salt Flats for more dreamy shots. Austin and Kelsie are so fun to photograph and they are such a rad couple. You can just tell by looking at these pictures how authentic they are. xo
Jessica & Alex, El Paso Texas Wedding
This day started out at the Indigo Hotel Downtown El Paso, TX. As the day went on, more memories were made and the laughs got louder. A beautiful ceremony was followed by a breathtaking backyard reception. The bride and groom supplied a ย Dior and Cigar bar for the guests along with "I Spy" for the kids. This wedding could've been in a movie. I can't even explain how much fun I had partying with these people. Congrats Jessica and Alex! xo dream
Olympic National Park
Last year I decided to invest in an amazing workshop hosted by some pretty incredible people. The Alpine Northwest workshop (@alpinenorthwest or alpinenw.photo/) was an experience that led me to new friends and much needed inspiration. I added a little 'Behind The Scenes' picture at the end of this post showing the madness that went on behind the cameras.   xx
